A Walewale District court in the West Mamprusi Municipality of the North East Region has sentenced 27-year-old Abdulai Zalia two years for stealing a baby in Walewale.
Zalia was arrested on Thursday (18 April 2024) in Walewale for stealing the baby while the mother was asleep.
The convict, Abdulai Zalia pleaded guilty in court.
Zalia told the court that she and her friend, Rahi, went to the house and stole the baby from her mother.
