Yagaba/Kubori: I’ll provide good leadership, says NDC parliamentary candidate hopeful
The aspirant, who successfully filed and submitted his form at the party office in Yagaba, implored the youth to be patient and continue to rally their support for him before and after the primaries
A parliamentary candidate hopeful for the Yagaba-Kubori constituency on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North East Region, Abu Iddrisu, has assured constituents of good leadership when he is given the nod to serve them.
The aspirant, who successfully filed and submitted his form at the party office in Yagaba, implored the youth to be patient and continue to rally their support for him before and after the primaries.
He said “with the deepest of appreciation, I would like to thank everyone here for your immense support and show of love from the very day I declared my intention to contest the primaries.
“I am imploring everyone, especially, the youth in the Yagaba-Kubori constituency to be patient and support my candidature so that we get good leadership after the elections.”
He stated that he is the only candidate who can reclaim the Yagaba-Kubori seat from the incumbent member of parliament and minister for youth and sports, Yussif Mustapha, in order to bring development to the area and attend to the needs of the constituents better.
Iddrisu was addressing the youth who accompanied him to the party office in Yagaba to submit his forms.
Iddrisu is competing with three other candidates who have also filed to contest in the parliamentary primaries in the constituency in May 2023.
