Suame NDC youth organiser’s case: Court sets 4 May for case management conference

At a court hearing on Tuesday 4 April, the prosecution confirmed that it has served the accused person with all documents required for the trial

The Asokwa circuit court has set 4 May for the case management conference (CMC) in the ongoing trial of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) youth organiser for the Suame Constituency, Razak Koampa Avoliya.

At a court hearing on Tuesday 4 April, the prosecution confirmed that it has served the accused person with all documents required for the trial.

Fred Obikyere presided over the court. He has adjourned the case to 4 May.

Razak was declared wanted by the police after he had made unsavoury statements in a video. The Ashanti Regional executives of the NDC, on Wednesday 8 February, handed him over to the police.

He was arraigned, charged and remanded in police custody the next day. He is currently on a GHC50,000 bail.
