Kwabena Kwakye: Oman FM’s director of radio is dead

Kwakye who doubles as host for Boiling Point, popular political talk programme on the station is reported to have collapsed during a production Wednesday (14 February) morning and was pronounced dead at the hospital

The director of radio at Accra-based Oman FM, Kwabena Kwakye has passed on.

Kwakye who doubles as host for Boiling Point, a popular political talk programme on the station is reported to have collapsed during a production Wednesday (14 February) morning and was subsequently pronounced dead at the hospital.

The late broadcaster previously worked as parliamentary and presidential correspondent for Net2 TV and Oman FM.

He also worked previously with the likes of Pro Kofi Agyekum of University of Ghana, Prof Kwesi Yankah,  Kwabena Agyapong and K T Hammond now Trade Minister.

Kwabena Kwakye was appointed to the board of the Ghana National Petroleum Company GNPC in 2017 by President Akufo-Addo under the chairmanship of Freddie Blay.
