Vetting for the Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations is currently underway at Parliament House in Accra, with the nominee, Samuel Nartey George in the hot seat.
George Nartey is among the ministerial nominees set to appear before the Appointments Committee of Parliament today, Thursday, 30 January 2025.
Samuel Nartey George, Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram, serving his third term is a Ghanaian politician and agricultural engineer.
He is a member of the National Democratic Congress and first came into Parliament after defeating E. T. Mensah to represent the party in the 2016 parliamentary elections for Ningo-Prampram Constituency.
Prior to his parliamentary role, he worked at the Communications Directorate at the Presidency during President Mahama’s previous tenure.
