Three suspects are in police custody for allegedly killing a 30-year-old man and attempting to sell his body parts to a fetish priest in the Volta Region, the police said on Monday (11 October).

The police spokesperson in the Volta Region, ASP Afia Tenge, said the three suspects had priced the dead body at GHC7,000.

They are Kalefe Korku, 42, Afedo Kpotor, 21, and Ametoke Sitsofe, 27.

The fetish priest had feigned interest in buying the corpse having informed the police about the deal meant to be executed at Agbozume.

The three were picked up when they showed up.
