Volta Region: NPP constituency secretary supports party elders and children

Faith Selassie Dunyo said the support formed part of his initiatives to give back to society and support children who needed financial assistance in the constituency

Faith Selassie Dunyo, the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Central Tongu constituency secretary, has made donations to party elders, an orphanage home and sick children at the Adidome Government Hospital.

He said the support formed part of his initiatives to give back to society and support children who needed financial assistance in the constituency.

He donated essential items, including food, toiletries, and educational materials to Good Samaritan Home, an orphanage home in Adidome.

He donated the same items and some money to children at the Adidome Government Hospital’s children’s ward.

The secretary, after touring the two facilities, met with elders of the NPP in the constituency.

He donated an undisclosed amount of money to the elders.

According to Faith, the support is to take care of the basic needs of the elders and also alleviate the challenges of children at the hospital and in orphanage shelters.

He said the support is to mark his birthday and also this year’s Father’s Day celebration.

He recognised the significance of supporting children, particularly when they are ill, and emphasised the need for adequate care and resources to aid in their recovery.

Faith said, “As a leader, I believe in the biblical principle of giving to those in need. Today, I chose to celebrate my birthday and Father’s Day by spreading joy and kindness throughout the constituency. I’m grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others.”

He pledged his commitment to continue supporting the party and his constituents, however, he called on all party members to unite and work to win the upcoming general elections in December.
