Tonto Dikeh speaks on ‘failed love story’, advises fans

The mother-of-one said this in an Instagram post on Sunday, where she noted that there were millions of beautiful love stories around the world

Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has admitted that she had a “miserable failed love story.”

However, she advised her fans not to give up on love regardless of her experience, adding that love was a beautiful thing.

The mother-of-one said this in an Instagram post on Sunday, where she noted that there were millions of beautiful love stories around the world.

Describing love as “a gift to one another”, the actress noted that love does not hurt.

She said, “Don’t let my miserable failed love story or the failure of others’ love stories deter you from believing you can’t make it.

“Don’t let others’ poor choices determine your life/ beliefs. That we fail doesn’t mean we are failures. We learn from each mistake and we keep on the fire.

“Love is a beautiful thing. Love is so sweet and it’s truly a gift to one another, and love doesn’t hurt. If it does, that ain’t love. Don’t give up on love.”

Last year, the actress fell out with her ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri, and they had a messy breakup which broke the Internet.

Her failed marriage to Churchill Olakunle also stirred social media in 2017.

Tonto and Churchill parted ways in 2017, after two years of marriage and a son together.
