Ghanaian socialite, Shatta Bandle seemed to have run into problems with EFCC over his public display of the naira currency during his stay in Nigeria.

Shatta Bandle who was present at the funeral of Nollywood actor John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu was seen at another event having fun.

A viral video showing the small-sized star showering Naira at an event drew the attention of authorities.

The Ghanaian celebrity has however issued an apology in a video to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the people of Nigeria for misusing the Naira; a similar behavior resulted in the imprisonment of crossdresser Bobrisky.

Shatta Bandle, who is now back in Ghana, explained the reason for his actions, saying that he began by spraying cash but started by spraying dollars but switched to Naira when he ran out of the US currency, leading to the violation of Nigerian law.

He also spoke about his respect for the EFCC and Nigerian laws while describing Nigeria as his second home.
