Video: Nigerian actor Chiwetalu Agu assaulted by soldiers
Nigerian soldiers can be seen dragging and assaulting a popular Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, in a video widely shared on social media.
Agu, 65, appears to be wearing a Biafra-themed outfit on a busy road when he is confronted by the soldiers.
There has been a decades-long campaign for the creation of the breakaway state of Biafra in south-east Nigeria.
We have not been able to confirm the authenticity of the video, and our BBC Pidgin colleagues have failed to get a response from the Nigerian army.

Nigeria’s Punch newspaper quoted an unnamed source as saying that Agu was in Onitsha city to do charity work when the incident happened.
The paper describes him as a supporter of the “Biafra cause”.
Secessionists declared an independent state in south-east Nigeria in 1967. The military defeated them after 30 months of fighting and a huge death toll, but the demand for secession has continued.
