In an interview with CTV, the 'Anadwo Yede' hitmaker said that he would contest for the Akwapem North seat

Ghanaian hiplife musician, K K Fosu, has served notice that he will run for Parliament in 2024.

In an interview with CTV, the ‘Anadwo Yede’ hitmaker said that he would contest for the Akwapem North seat.

“In 2024 people should watch out,” K K Fosu said. “I am a freedom fighter, and I always want to fight for the youth of this country, especially Akuapem North.”

He said that he intends to push for additional jobs in the agricultural sector in order to attract young people.

“Let’s go back to agriculture. I always want to advocate when it comes to agriculture. I want us to go back to agriculture. I want us to build agriculture for it to become attractive for the youth,” the veteran musician said.

He said he will stand as an independent candidate.

“I am the kind of person everybody loves. NDC loves me, NPP loves me, CPP loves me and with such parties you have to serve with them from the grassroot level. And I’m not ready for that,” K K Fosu said.
