The former president John Mahama has called on the chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo, to express his condolences following the death of Ofosu-Ampofo’s mother.
Mary Gyawubea Badu died on Monday 31 October at the Koforidua Regional Hospital at the age of 84 after a short illness.
“I visited the national chairman of our party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), to commiserate with him and his family on the loss of their mother,” Mahama posted on Facebook.
He added: “I also signed a book of condolence opened for deceased by the family.”
