GAFCSC class of 2021 donate computers, printers to alma mater

GAFCSC class of 2021 have donated desktop computers and printers to the College to augment the ICT equipment pool at the institution

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) class of 2021 have donated desktop computers and printers to the College to augment the Informational and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment pool at the college.

Presenting the items on behalf of the 52-member class, Mr Michael Brefo (member of the class) indicated that the class was honoured to donate the items to its alma mater.

He added that he and his colleague former students of GAFCSC will keep the well-being of the school a top priority as they go about their enterprise with the knowledge they have acquired from the school’s Master of Science (MSc) in Defence and International Politics (MDIP) programme.

 

Dean of Academic Affairs

Dean of Academic Affairs at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Professor Vladimir Antwi-Danso, receiving the items on behalf of the commandant of the college, registered the appreciation of the College for the kind gesture of the class of 2020/2021.

“This is a token that expresses the deep seated love you have for the school or the College and also in appreciation of what the school has given you. This will serve a good purpose for the College,” Professor Antwi-Danso said.

Items Donated

The donation comprises two (2) Lenovo all-in-one 19.5 inch Celeron, 4GB, ITB computers, two (2) HP deskjet AIO 3789 printers and two (2) Blutek BT-1000VA uninterrupted power supply (UPS) units.

GAFCSC

The Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) was established in 1963 with the mandate to train officers of the Ghana Armed Forces and allied officers of Africa in command and staff responsibilities.

GAFCSC has produced professionals of diverse national, career and linguistic backgrounds who have and continue to significantly influence development on the African continent and beyond.

The College has contributed immeasurably to existing knowledge and scholarship not just in the fields of Defence and Security but the general Public Service practices as well.
