NPA fines seven firms over GHC1.5 million for various infractions

The firms are Maori Oil Company Ltd, Rodo Company Ltd, MBA Global Ltd, Cigo Energy Ltd, Torrid Global Ltd,  Naddif Company Ltd GAT Oil

The National Petroleum Authority (NPA) has fined seven Petroleum Service Providers (PSPs) an amount of GHC 1.5 million for various infractions.

The firms are Maori Oil Company Ltd, Rodo Company Ltd, MBA Global Ltd, Cigo Energy Ltd, Torrid Global Ltd,  Naddif Company Ltd GAT Oil.

A statement issued by the NPA on Monday (23 May) said the firms were cited for engaging in illicit third party trading of petroleum products.

The NPA is warning any firm which fails to comply with its stipulated rules and guidelines will face sanctions.
