Parliament resumes sitting on Tuesday

In a statement signed by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, Members of Parliament are expected to be seated by 10am

Parliament is set to resume sitting on Tuesday ( 31 October) for the Third Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic.

This clears the way for the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta to present the 2024 Budget next month.

The House went on recess in August 2023.

In a statement signed by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, Members of Parliament are expected to be seated by 10am at Parliament House, Accra.

“Pursuant to standing order 32(2) of the Parliament of Ghana, I, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, Speaker of Parliament, hereby notify Honourable Members of the Third Meeting of the Third Session of the Eighth Parliament of the Fourth Republic which shall commence on Tuesday, 31 October at Ten O’clock in the forenoon at Parliament House, Accra.”
