Michy and I have never been friends, says Medikal
Speaking on the Between Hours show with Keely Jade Brewer, Medikal said, "I don't know her; we are not friends"
Ghanaian hip-hop artist Medikal has revealed that Diamond Michelle Gbagonah, better known as Michy, is not his friend.
Speaking on the Between Hours show with Keely Jade Brewer, Medikal said, “I don’t know her; we are not friends”.
Medikal and Michy have not been on good terms since Shatta Wale‘s ex-partner, Michy, confronted Medikal over comments he made regarding Shatta’s parenting.
Michy took issue with a statement Medikal made claiming that Shatta pays for his son’s school fees, which she disputed.
The conversation between the two quickly escalated at a blogger’s party on 29 April, with Medikal advising Michy to act responsibly while she was filming him and the latter using an expletive in reference to the rapper.
“I know her on the media level but I don’t know her here personally.”
“The first time I saw Shatta Michy was when Shatta Wale came with her to perform at a show of mine; my second time talking to her was when she had a camera on me talking to me that day. So I was surprised because there was no bad blood between us.”
“But I just overlooked what she did; it wasn’t that deep. If you look at that video, you will realise that I wasn’t aggressive or anything like that because I am a gentleman,” Medikal added.
