The president of the Republic of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, arrived in Ghana on Friday for a three-day state visit.
The visit is aimed at strengthening the existing bilateral political and economic relations between Ghana and South Africa.
Ramaphosa, who leads a strong delegation of government officials and business leaders, will call on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House in Accra on Saturday, where the two will engage in bilateral talks.
The South African leader is on a week-long, four-nation visit to the West African sub-region.
He has already visited Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire and is expected to visit Senegal after Ghana.
