Omane Boamah named NDC election director

After the party's national executive committee meeting on Thursday, legal practitioner Godwin Kudzo Tameklo was also appointed the new director of legal affairs

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has appointed the former communication minister Edward Omane Boamah as its director of elections and IT in the lead up to the 2024 general polls.

A statement released by the party’s general secretary Fifi Kwetey on Thursday (24 August) also named Joshua Alabi, Samuel Sarpong and Abdul Rauf Khalid as part of the NDC’s vice chairpersons.

After the party’s national executive committee meeting on Thursday, legal practitioner Godwin Kudzo Tameklo was also appointed the new director of legal affairs.

The former deputy general secretary of the NDC, Peter Boamah Otokunor also heads the inter-party/CSO relations of the largest opposition party in Ghana.
