The Asset Management Journey: A shared Experience

Physical assets are critical to value creation and service delivery. Understanding best practices for whole life management of physical assets has gained strategic importance in recent times. This has generated a common consensus among principals in the Extractive, Manufacturing and Government, that Physical Asset Management (AM) is an area of priority which requires a strategic focus leading to the proposal for the formation of the Asset Management Corporation by the Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, to manage public assets.
In Ghana today, some organizations in the Extractive, Power and manufacturing sectors have, or are about to launch Asset Management programs with those who have launched currently at different levels of maturity.
In a bid to furthering their knowledge and understanding of Asset Management, Asset Management leaders, practitioners and professionals agree that there is a need to share best practices, lessons learned and insights without compromising their competitive advantage.
To this end, Assured Reliability Technologies, a Ghanaian consulting and education services firm focused on the full spectrum of Physical Asset Management from Maintenance through Asset Reliability to Operations Optimization, is providing a platform for leaders involved in acquisition, operation and care of physical assets, to share insights and best practices
