The parliamentary vetting will be conducted by the Appointments Committee and is scheduled to run until Wednesday (18 June)

Parliament is set to begin vetting seven new nominees to the Supreme Court on Monday, 16 June, in what is expected to be a high-stakes and politically sensitive process.
The nominees, appointed by President John Dramani Mahama, are all sitting Justices of the Court of Appeal and include:
- Justice Sir Dennis Dominic Adjei
- Justice Gbiel Simon Suurbaareh
- Justice Senyo Zamere
- Justice Kweku Tawiah Ackaah-Boafo
- Justice Philip Bright Mensah
- Justice Janapare Bartels-Kodwo
- Justice Hafisata Amaleboba
The parliamentary vetting will be conducted by the Appointments Committee and is scheduled to run until Wednesday (18 June).
A statement from Parliament’s Media Relations Department said the vetting process will examine the nominees’ legal qualifications, judicial track records, and overall suitability to serve on Ghana’s apex court.
