Fiapre Circuit in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono Region on Monday (22 July) granted bail to a Sunyani-based radio presenter, Nana Poku Piesie who claimed to have had countless sexual encounters with a 14-year-old girl.
Bismark Nana Poku Piesie during a live radio programme on Sompa FM 5 July 2024, was heard claiming to have had countless sexual encounters with a 14-year-old girl from when she was in class six until she completed senior high school.
For his bail condition, Nana Poku Piesie also known as Kwabena was to provide four sureties with two of them being justified with GHC800,000 Ghana each.
The Fiapre Circuit Court presided over by Akua Adomah Addae additionally ordered the seizure of the passport of Nana Poku Piesie and also asked him to report to the police every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at noon.
The Fiapre presiding judge, Akua Adomah Addae further warned failure to report to the police will result in revocation of the bail condition, re-arrest and remand of the accused person (Nana Poku Piesie) while on trial.
His plea was, however, not taken while the case has been adjourned to 22 August 2024, for a full trial to commence.
