Nigerian artistes are smarter than Ghanaians, says KK Fosu

The “Anadwo Yede” singer says Nigerian artistes are always willing to learn and that is one of the main reasons why they are more successful

Ghanaian highlife musician KK Fosu has said that he is proud of how Nigerian artistes are hopping onto Ghanaian beats to market their songs.

“They have seen that there’s something in us and we (Ghanaian musicians) are not being smart enough. Nigerians are smart, business-wise and in everything,” KK Fosu said on Asaase Radio’s Between Hours show on Tuesday (25 January).

Speaking to the host Naa Ashorkor, the musician noted that Nigerian artistes are always willing to learn and that is one of the main reasons why they are more successful.

KK Fosu said Nigerian artistes such as Patoranking and Mr Eazi are picking a lot of stuff from the Ghanaian industry to spice up their songs.

However, he commended Ghanaian artistes including Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy and Kwame Eugene for the various roles they are playing to fly the flag of Ghana in the entertainment industry.
