Kudos, Mohammed! Kudus completes Ajax move
19-year-old star-in-the-making Kudus Mohammed is set to make the leap from Denmark’s Nordsjælland in deal worth €9.5 million
Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have successfully completed the transfer of Kudus Mohammed from the Danish side Nordsjælland.
Kudus Mohammed signed a five-year contract with the four-time European champions after passing the mandatory medical tests on Thursday (16 July).
Ajax reportedly paid €9.5 million to Nordsjælland for the services of the Ghanaian international.
Golden Boy
The move to Ajax is just the latest milestone in what has been an incredible year for the 19-year old Ghana international. He was recently named in the 100-man shortlist for the 2020 Golden Boy awards.
Predominantly a forward, capable of playing anywhere across the front three positions, Kudus Mohammed scored 11 goals in 25 appearances in his final season for Nordsjælland.
He joined Nordsjælland in 2018 after successfully completing his apprenticeship at the Right to Dream Academy in Accra.
The 19-year-old will wear jersey number 20 at Ajax next season.
