Hearts striker, Obeng Jnr, vows to score against Aduana Stars

Hearts of Oak striker, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr, has served notice to Aduana Stars to look out for him in Saturday's clash

Hearts of Oak forward, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr, has promised to score against Aduana Stars if he is fielded, even for five minutes, in the game.

Hearts of Oak will travel to Dormaa to play Aduana Stars in the most competitive fixture of Matchday One of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season on Saturday, 14 November, 2020.

The former Nea Salamina striker said he is a man of his words, asking the supporters to take him on if he fails.

Obeng Jnr recalled a similar promise he made in a game against Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko, when he was still at Division One side, Nea Salamina.

“I don’t want to talk much ahead of our season opener in Dormaa, but all that I can say is that I will score against Aduana Stars,” Obeng Jnr told Ark FM.

“Even if I play five minutes, I will score against them at their own backyard. I said it and I did it against Kotoko when I was playing for Nea Salamina.”

Obeng Jnr was not a regular in the previous season and he will hope his pledge comes to pass for him to be able to compete for a place in the starting line-up of the Phobians.
