Soldier, two others arrested over clashes at Zamarama line

A statement issued by the police on Monday (6 June) said the soldier Sergent Isaac Abbey shot and injured four people on the said piece of land

A soldier and two others have been arrested in connection with a shooting incident on a disputed land at Zamarama line, near Sukura, a suburb of Accra.

A statement issued by the police on Monday (6 June) said the soldier Sergent Isaac Abbey shot and injured four people on the said piece of land.

It says the victims, Ali Ashillely, Akim Zibo, Salam Musah and Faisal Khalid Azumah who sustained various degrees of gunshot wounds were sent to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital for treatment.
