SIC Insurance PLC has demonstrated its financial strength and commitment to honouring claims with the payment of an insurance settlement worth over GHC1.5 million to GCB Bank PLC.
The claim, which amounted to GHC 1,541,446.19, fell under GCB Bank’s Bankers Blanket Policy and was disbursed during a short ceremony held at the bank’s Head Office in Accra.
Presenting the cheque on behalf of SIC Insurance, the Acting Managing Director, James Agyenim-Boateng, commended GCB Bank for its continued trust and business relationship over the years.
The cheque was received by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director (Finance), Socrates Afram.
Agyenim-Boateng used the occasion to reaffirm SIC Insurance’s stability and financial resilience.
He stated that the company remains committed to fulfilling its obligations promptly, especially in the area of claims payments.
He disclosed that beyond the current transaction, SIC Insurance has, in recent months, paid claims exceeding one million dollars (US$1 million) to a client in Accra and another US$780,000 to a company in Tema—further proof of the insurer’s capacity to deliver.
He encouraged individuals and businesses to choose SIC Insurance PLC when making insurance decisions, citing the firm’s proven record in meeting its commitments.
