Mike Oquaye Jnr emerged victorious in the NPP race for the parliamentary candidacy in Dome-Kwabenya with an impressive 1,194 votes

The incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP Sarah Adwoa Safo faced a competitive race in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency, and secured 398 votes.

However, it was Mike Oquaye Jnr who emerged victorious on Saturday (27 January), with an impressive 1,194 votes.

Sheila Oppong Sakyi, who had campaigned to NPP delegates on a platform of being “passionate”, “dependable” and “hard working”, followed with 186 votes.
