Serwaa Amihere graduates with second class upper from GIMPA Law Faculty

The celebrated Ghanaian broadcast journalist Joyce Serwaa Amihere has graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) with a second class upper honours degree.

Ms Amihere enrolled to study law in September 2020 at GIMPA and has completed the first half of her journey to be a lawyer today, Friday 28 July 2023.

She is expected to write the Ghana School of Law entrance examination taking place on Friday 8 September 2023.

Serwaa Amihere is a news presenter who currently works with GHOne TV as the co-host of GH Today, the prime-time morning show on GHOne TV. She is also the host of Cheers, a weekend sports show.

Serwaa was born on 8 March 1990 to Frank Yeboah and Lydia Tetteh. She attended Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School and then obtained a degree in banking and finance from Methodist University College, Ghana.

She launched her media career as an entertainment and lifestyle enthusiast on GHOne TV’s entertainment and lifestyle show The Glitterati.

Ms Amihere won the Television Female Newscaster of the Year Award in the 2018 Radio and Television Personality Awards.

She is one of the leading news anchors on GHOne TV and the first Ghanaian to win the RTP Awards’ Best TV Newscaster of the Year three times in a row.
