The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has announced plans to improve access and prevent unauthorized activities in the Adum PZ area, which was not affected by the recent fire.
This follows the devastating fire at Adum Blue Light on Friday, March 21, which destroyed several shops. Firefighters worked hard to put out the flames.
In a statement on Sunday (23 March), the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council (ARCC) said the move is to make the area safer and reduce fire risks.
Security personnel will be deployed, and the public is urged to cooperate. The initiative starts on Monday (24 March).
The ARCC also advised residents and business owners to follow the new safety guidelines to prevent future disasters.
