The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially congratulated the new king of the Gonja kingdom on his appointment.
The appointment of the new king, Jira Tulwewura Soale Nbemah Amonebafi Borenyi I, was announced on Monday 27 February by the acting king, Sonyowura, together with kingmakers as the tradition of the land demands.
Below is a statement issued by the NPP to congratulate the new king on his appointment.
