The Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Wednesday (24 May 2023) paid his final respect to the late Inspector General of Police (IGP) Peter Nanfuri at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Nanfuri, who died on 17 February (2023), served as Inspector General of Police in Ghana from 1 October, 1996 to 21 January 2001.
A host of dignitaries, including the IGP George Akuffo Dampare, Fr Andrew Campbell , Mahama Iddrisu of the NDC and Kwesi Ahwoi attended the funeral.
