Addressing party members at the 10th anniversary of the Luton Chapter of the NPP - UK Branch, the Second Vice - Chairperson said the party had for the past seven years worked to deliver on its promises to the Ghanaians

The second national vice chairperson of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Rita Talata Asobayere, has charged members of the party to project the government’s good works until it secures victory in the upcoming 7 December polls.
Addressing party members at the 10th anniversary of the Luton Chapter of the NPP – UK Branch, the second vice – chairperson said the party had for the past seven years worked to deliver on its promises to the Ghanaians.
This delivery, she noted, has affected every sector of the economy, adding that the Ghanaian voter would be able to point to something that makes the NPP deserving of their votes on 7 December.
“I walk around a lot and have seen the delivery of the NPP government and this has been felt in all sectors of the economy, which gives some of us hope that the Ghanaian would vote for us on December 7,” Asobayere stated.
She asked for resources from its diaspora and allied groups, stressing that it would enable the party to prosecute a well resourced election campaign.
The second vice chairperson however, commended the UK branch for its continued support for the party and urged the Luton chapter executives to also work hard to sustain its solid structure and activities.
“The UK branch has been a solid front and i am sure it is because the chapters under it, including Luton, play their roles well,” Asobayere commended.
The chairperson specially commended Kwame Oheneba Boakye, a member of the NPP – UK communications wing for his organisational skills, adding that “I almost stopped attending the event at Luton due to the grounds work in which I was involved.
The Luton Chapter later conferred honours on Rita Talata Asobayere for her tenacity and hard work for the NPP. The citation recalled the various roles and positions Madam Asobayere had occupied to push the agenda of the NPP.
Other persons who attended the Luton event from Ghana were the Kumasi Mayor, Samuel Pyne, the Ashanti regional NADMO director, Frank Duodu, as well as many others.
