The pastor and some church members allegedly attacked police officers on Sunday at his church premises

The Head pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and three others have been arrested for allegedly attacking police officers at the church premises, a police statement said on Sunday 12 September 2021.

The statement said the suspects would be arraigned in court on Monday 13 September.

Unconfirmed reports have it that the police went to the church premises to arrest Reverend Owusu Bempah and his men over a viral video showing them with weapons at the residence of converted fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa.

Agradaa reportedly provoked Rev Bempah before her home was invaded.

“The suspects are being detained for further investigations over the creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, the brandishing of a weapon and the assault of some police personnel,” the statement said.
