Reggae artist Cocoa Tea is alive, says King Lagazee

Jamaican reggae artist, Cocoa Tea

The host of Asaase Yaad Settingz King Lagazee has dispelled rumours making rounds that Jamaican reggae super star, Cocoa Tea, has died.

Cocoa Tea, whose real name is Colvin George Scott, is not only alive but continues to make significant contributions to the music industry and beyond, Lagazee – a heavyweight in the reggae music space – added.

Cocoa Tea is a highly acclaimed reggae artist with a career spanning several decades. He has consistently captivated audiences with his infectious rhythms and thought-provoking lyrics.

Throughout his illustrious career, Cocoa Tea has achieved remarkable milestones, including chart-topping albums, awards, collaborations with industry legends.

“It is of utmost importance to emphasise that Colvin George Scott is in excellent health and there is no basis for the reports suggesting otherwise,” Lagazee said.

He remains an active and influential figure in the world of reggae music, with ongoing projects that continue to resonate with his dedicated fanbase.

“We urge media outlets and the public to uphold the principles of responsible reporting and fact-checking to safeguard the integrity of journalism. The dissemination of false information not only undermines the credibility of the media but also causes unnecessary distress to Cocoa Tea’s supporters and family,” King Lagazee said.

“Colvin George Scott expresses his gratitude for the outpouring of concern from his fans and well-wishers and reassures everyone that he is very much alive and thriving.”
