The First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo says she is optimistic Ghana will soon eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV, hepatitis and syphilis.
Her comment comes after Abbot Laboratories donated rapid diagnostic test kits for screening pregnant women for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis in Accra on Wednesday (4 May).
The gesture forms part of Abbot Laboratories partnership with The Organization of African First Ladies for Development (OAFLAD), to provide support to six member states.
