Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta presented the 2023 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government to Parliament on Thursday (24 November) aimed at restoring and stabilising the macroeconomy.
The minister announced that the Value added tax (VAT) is expected to increase by 2.5 percentage points.
