Ken Ofori-Atta, the Minister for Finance presented the 2022 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of the government in Parliament Wednesday,17 November 2021.
The budget captures the government’s decision to place a 1.75% levy on all electronic transactions to widen the tax net and rope in the informal sector.
The government has also abolished all tolls on public roads and bridges.
