Court adjourns Owusu Bempah’s case to 2 February

Rev Owusu Bempah and three other accused persons Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum were each charged with abetment to cause harm and unlawful damage

An Accra Circuit Court has adjourned the case of the Republic versus Rev Isaac Owusu Bempah and three others to 2 February 2022.

The founder and senior pastor of the Glorious Word Power Ministries together with the three accused persons Michael Boateng, Frederick Ohene and Nathaniel Agyekum were each charged with abetment to cause harm and unlawful damage.

After the accused persons pleaded not guilty on the charges, the court granted each of them bail in the sum of Ghc100,000 with a surety each to be justified.

The four were to appear in the circuit court to begin trial but counsel for the first accused person, Gary Nimako Marfo, informed the court through a letter that Rev Owusu Bempah was unwell.

The case was since adjourned to 2 February 2022.
