Ralph Poku-Adusei celebrates Eid Mubarak with Muslim community in Bekwai

Member of Parliament (MP) for Bekwai, Ralph Poku-Adusei, on Monday, 31 March 2025, joined thousands of Muslims in his constituency to celebrate Eid Mubarak, marking the end of Ramadan.

The MP participated in the morning Eid prayers and mingled with dignitaries, including the Zongo Chief Imam, leaders of the Zongo Muslim community, and executives from both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Show of love and solidarity

This celebration was a testament to the unity and solidarity among religious leaders, politicians, and community members. The MP’s presence and dedication of his entire day to celebrate with all Muslims demonstrated his commitment to fostering a peaceful and self-sufficient community.

Supporting the Muslim community

During Ramadan, Poku-Adusei presented Muslims in his constituency with bags of sugar, cartons of milk, and boxes of Lipton tea. Additionally, he donated 50 bags of 25kg rice (or 250 bags of 5kg rice) to be distributed among Muslims in the constituency.

Ralph Poku-Adusei is poised to bring all factions within the Bekwai constituency together to collaborate on all fronts towards creating an enabling environment that provides opportunities for individuals and businesses to thrive, improve the local economy, promotes infrastructural development, create job opportunities and make the constituency self-sufficient.
