NPP UK youth patron donates £10,000 of souvenirs to activists

Long-term patron of the youth wing of the New Patriotic Party in the UK gifts materials for innovative campaign

The youth leadership of the New Patriotic Party UK (NPP UK) paid a courtesy call on the youth wing’s longest-serving patron, Andy Owusu, last month and took receipt of materials to assist the party’s campaign for Election 2020.

Owusu praised the team for their innovative efforts to keep NPP youth in the diaspora engaged and energised throughout their tenure.

To support the youth wing’s outreach activities and the campaign towards the 2020 general election, Owusu donated 20,000 branded, first-of-its-kind car air fresheners.

“4 More for Nana”

The air fresheners will be especially useful in promoting the 4 More For Nana message in vehicles around Ghana.

COVID-19 protocols and the limitations on congregation have given impetus to campaigning using such unique means.

The NPP Youth organiser, Richard Gyamfi, received the items on behalf of the UK youth wing and thanked Owusu for his generous gesture and continued support.

The items, he said, will be a morale booster for young activists working to spread the party’s message in the lead-up to Election 2020.
