Kufuor, Mahama, others sign Rawlings’s Book of Condolence

Former Presidents, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama, are among the dignitaries scheduled to sign the Book of Condolence this morning at the Accra International Conference Centre

The Book of Condolence in memory of late President Jerry Rawlings will be opened today (16 November 2020) at the foyer of the Accra International Conference Centre from 9am to 5pm, the State Protocol Department announced.

Rawlings died last Thursday at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital after a short illness. He was 73.

Former Presidents, John Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama, are among the dignitaries scheduled to sign the book Monday morning.

Others include the Speaker of Parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye, His Lordship the Chief Justice, Kwasi Anin-Yeboah, and other members of the Judicial Council and Justices of the Supreme Court.

The State Protocol Department has assured that all COVID-19 protocols would be observed at the signing.
