“Get everyone out to vote for NPP,” Alhaji Ramadan, ambassador to UAE, charges NPP Frontiers

The ambassador to the UAE, Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, has charged the NPP to ensure that all voters step out to vote NPP on 7 December

Alhaji Ahmed Ramadan, Ghana’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and father of Samira Bawumia, the second lady, has charged members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to ensure that everyone in their communities and immediate environs steps out to vote for the NPP in the 7 December presidential and parliamentary elections.

Alhaji Ramadan made this call when he addressed a ceremony on Sunday 18 October 2020 at the Polypet Academy in Tabora-Alhaja, Accra. He was the special guest at the launch of Frontiers of NPP, a group formed by NPP supporters in the Anyaa Sowutuom constituency to engage in a vigorous house-to-house campaign over the next 50 days in the run-up to the 2020 polls,

“Don’t leave anyone at home on the voting day. Make sure you bring out everybody for them to cast their vote and cast it appropriately for the benefit of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo,” the former People’s National Convention chairman told Asaase Radio after the ceremony.

Akufo-Addo’s all-inclusive policies

In brief remarks at the gathering, Alhaji Ramadan said: “Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for the first time in the history of this country, has set up a government that is all-inclusive.

“Everybody in the country is included in the governance of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

“This is the only government that within the first four years, every constituency that you touch, you will see the reflection of the work of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. It has not been like this in the past,” Ambassador Ramadan said.

Imminent defeat of NDC

Touching on the National Democratic Congress, Alhaji Ramadan said that it appears to be preparing to reject the results of Election 2020 because defeat is staring the party in the face.

To this end, he urged the NPP faithful to work so hard that it propels the party to win the election decisively and overwhelmingly.

“From the look of things, the NDC is sensing a serious defeat facing them and, for that matter, they are doing everything possible either to reject the election or to withdraw from the election.

“If they withdraw, all well and good, but if they say they don’t accept the results, we will go ahead and rule this country,” Alhaji Ramadan said.
