
The Tema Regional Police Command is appealing to the general public for assistance in identifying a deceased pregnant woman who was discovered on the Tema-Accra Motorway.
According to a public alert issued by the Command, the woman, believed to be about 40 years old, was found around 1:00 p.m. on Friday, 11 April 2025.
The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, and investigations are currently underway.
Police are urging anyone with information that could help identify the deceased or locate her family to contact the nearest police station or reach out via the following numbers: 0246259137, 0547272599, or the emergency helpline 18555.
Assistant Superintendent of Police, Dede Dzakpasu, who serves as the Public Affairs Officer, signed the statement and expressed the Command’s reliance on public cooperation.
“We are counting on your usual support,” the statement concluded.
