The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the deaths of two children whose bodies were found in an abandoned vehicle in Kakpayili, a suburb of Tamale, in the Northern Region.
The children, who were reported missing on 25 June 2024, were discovered on Sunday (30 June) in a compound within the Kakpayili community.
According to a statement released by the Ghana Police Service on Monday (1 July), they have “commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of two children.”
The bodies of the deceased have been transported to the Tamale Teaching Hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
