Some former Black Stars players have visited the family of the late Christian Atsu in Accra to commiserate with them.

Atsu, 31, was caught up in a 7.8-magnitude quake that rocked Turkey and Syria, killing more than 46,000 people in both countries.

The team led by former Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan include Sulley Muntari, Emmanuel Agyeman Badu, Haminu Dramani and Baffour Gyan.

The former national team players also used the opportunity to sign the book of condolence at the family house here in Accra.
