The Asaase Broadcasting team, led by Office Manager and Senior Producer Abraham Alokore, extended their congratulations to Domfeh and expressed optimism about his leadership

Newly elected Ashanti Regional Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Kofi Adu Domfeh, has called for strong collaboration among media stakeholders to uplift journalism in the region.

He made the appeal during a courtesy visit by a delegation from the Ashanti unit of Asaase Broadcasting Corporation on Thursday (3 July).

Describing his election as a “call to duty,” Domfeh pledged to lead with inclusiveness and a commitment to promoting the welfare of journalists. He stressed that unity and professionalism would be key pillars of his administration.

“For myself and my team, one of the major responsibilities we are taking up upon ourselves is to ensure that we don’t fail the media fraternity in the region,” he said.

The Asaase Broadcasting team, led by Office Manager and Senior Producer Abraham Alokore, extended their congratulations to Domfeh and expressed optimism about his leadership.

“As a station that has good relations with Luv 99.5 FM, as well as our brother, we decided to pay him a courtesy call… and also convey our wishes for growth, transformation, and inclusion within the media fraternity,” Alokore stated.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both parties to discuss challenges facing the media in the Ashanti Region and identify areas for future collaboration.

Asaase Broadcasting reaffirmed its commitment to supporting press freedom and professional media development in the region.
