Parliament meets CLOGSAG members over strike

CLOGSAG is on strike to seek, among other things, the contentious political neutrality allowance

The Parliamentary Select Committee on Local Government and Rural Development is expected to meet the striking members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG).

“The Parliamentary Select Committee on Local Government and Rural Development has learnt with concern that the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG) has embarked on an indefinite industrial action to drum home its demand for “political neutrality allowance,” an invitation letter to the association read in part.

The committee therefore appealed to CLOGSAG to honour the invitation to “discuss issues relating to the industrial action.”

CLOGSAG is on strike to seek, among other things, the contentious political neutrality allowance.
