Pan-Africanist professor P L O Lumumba to speak in UEW Public Lecture Series
As education rapidly evolves, this lecture aims to explore innovative approaches to preparing students for contemporary challenges
The antigraft crusader and renowned pan-Africanist Professor P L O Lumumba is scheduled to speak on the subject of 21st-century education in the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) Public Lecture Series.
Under the theme “Empowering Minds, Shaping Futures for 21st-Century Education”, the event will bring together key figures in education, leadership and policy to discuss the future of learning.
As education rapidly evolves, the lecture by Professor Lumumba aims to explore innovative approaches to preparing students for contemporary challenges.
Under the auspices of the vice-chancellor of UEW, Professor Stephen Jobson Mitchual, Haruna Iddrisu, Ghana’s Minister of Education, will be the guest of honour while Professor P L O Lumumba will deliver the keynote address.
The leadership expert Dr Samuel Koranteng-Pipim is also scheduled to speak. Dr Edmond Moukala, UNESCO’s representative in Ghana, will chair the session.
Also in attendance at the lecture by Professor Lumumba will be academics, policymakers and students to contribute to the conversation on shaping a progressive educational future.
This event in the UEW Public Lecture Series for 2025 will take place on Friday 11 April 2025 (starts 10am) at the Jophus Anamuah-Mensah Conference Centre on the North Campus of UEW in Winneba.
