To cynics and critics of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the people who have been preaching to Ghanaians that the outgone president is some kind of fiendish monster: you now have your freedom, right?
At long last, the battle has ended, and the “worst” president to have walked the face of the Earth has left the scene, so you can now breathe a sigh of relief.
The man some neutrals said would declare a state of emergency so that he could extend his stay in power didn’t declare any state of emergency.
The man the prophets and men of God said would make John Dramani Mahama and Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang fall so sick on the day of their inauguration, so much so that the two would not be able to attend their own inauguration ceremonies, did not make them fall sick.
The man Akufo-Addo, the one that some said would never make an appearance at Independence Square to witness the swearing-in ceremony of his successor, was actually there today.
The man whom the naysayers have described as the devil incarnate has been “defeated” in a fierce battle by the Archangel Michael (John Mahama), and is no longer on the scene.
The Messiah, President John Dramani Mahama, has finally touched down and will do wonders for all of us. The Hope of Ghanaians, JDM, has finally arrived.
Akufo-Addo is no longer your headache. He has played his role and has retired today. Just focus your attention and energy on the one you have voted for. Just let Akufo-Addo be, for he is tired of the lies and propaganda against him.
