Announcing the initiative in a social media post on X (formerlyTwitter), Ablakwa said the support forms part of his continuous commitment to empowering young people in the constituency through access to higher education.

“Yesterday, I offered 100 extra tertiary scholarships to my beloved constituents in Volo and Podoe,” he said. “This brings the total scholarships offered this year to 400.”

The scholarship programme, which covers tuition fees and other academic costs, is part of the MP’s broader social intervention efforts aimed at reducing the financial burden on students and their families.

Okudzeto Ablakwa spent the Easter holidays visiting various communities and taking part in local festivals. He described the time spent with his constituents as uplifting and reaffirmed his dedication to their progress and wellbeing.

“It has been great spending Easter with my beloved constituents at various community festivals,” he added.

The North Tongu legislator has long championed education and social development as key pillars of his leadership, and his scholarship programme continues to impact hundreds of young lives across the constituency.
